Willdan Geotechnical (a Willdan subsidiary known as Arroyo Geotechnical from 2001 to 2008) extends the broad range of Willdan’s integrated services by offering a full complement of geology/geotechnical engineering capabilities, including a soil testing laboratory certified by the City of Los Angeles and the California Department of Transportation. We are certified by the California Division of the State Architect. This designation allows us to perform Geotechnical (soils) and materials (concrete, masonry, steel, etc.) testing and inspection on all state school projects within California. We are currently now of 154 approved laboratories in California that can perform this work.
Depth of Services
Willdan Geotechnical provides geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, and construction material testing and inspection services. Consulting engineering and construction support services are provided to public agencies for capital improvement projects, and to private developers for major civil and commercial/industrial projects, or as third-party reviews. Willdan Geotechnical has successfully completed a wide array of projects in infrastructure improvements, transportation, port and harbor, essential facilities, and park and recreational installations.
